Caching, query tuning and checkout optimisation for high-volume stores.
I was building online shops on Jigoshop before it became WooCommerce in 2011, so I’ve been shipping Woo stores since the very first release. I know where WooCommerce shines, where it struggles under load, and how to build a store that keeps working as your catalogue and order volume grow.
Checkout is where stores lose money. I set up Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal and UK gateways properly, with webhooks, retries and reconciliation that stop orders going missing or customers being charged twice. VAT is configured correctly for UK and EU customers, and shipping rules match how you actually fulfil orders.
Subscription boxes, memberships, trade accounts with their own pricing, quote requests, minimum order quantities and bulk ordering - WooCommerce can handle all of it when it’s built carefully. Where a plugin gets you most of the way, I extend it. Where nothing fits, I write a custom one.
Moving from Shopify, Magento or an old custom cart? I migrate products, customers and order history, then map every old URL to its new home so your search rankings and backlinks come with you.
Slow product pages and sluggish checkouts cost sales. Every store gets caching tuned for WooCommerce, optimised queries and images, and a checkout stripped back to what customers need. I host stores too, so performance, updates and backups are handled in one place.

Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal and most UK gateways. I’ve wired up plenty and know where they bite.
That’s the point. Caching, query tuning and checkout optimisation are part of every build.
Usually, yes. I’ll audit what’s there first and tell you straight if it needs rework.
It depends on the business. WooCommerce gives you full ownership, no per-sale platform fees and almost unlimited flexibility. Shopify is simpler but more restrictive. I’ll give you an honest recommendation based on what you sell and how you work.
Yes. I connect stores to accounting, stock, CRM and fulfilment systems so orders, payments and inventory stay in sync without manual re-keying.
